POETRY READING AT THE LONGFELLOW HOUSE

Longfellow National Historic Site will present an afternoon of poetry with Rafael Campo and Maria Mazziotti Gillan, winners of the 2007 Sheila Motton Award from the New England Poertry Club, on Sunday, July 13, at 4 p.m. on the east lawn of the Longfellow House, 105 Brattle St., Cambridge. A book sale and signing will follow the reading. Part of the Longfellow Summer Festival, this event is free to all. There is limited seating. Bringing lawn chairs and blankets is encouraged. Sponsors include the New England Poetry Club, Friends of the Longfellow House and the National Park Service. There is no onsite parking, but there is handicapped parking available.
